The Aliso Viejo City Council will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 21, at City Hall, 12 Journey.
Here are three topics to be addressed by the council:
Ranch site: Big changes could be coming to the historic Aliso Viejo Ranch site, including the construction of an 8,000-square-foot barn containing meeting rooms, a catering kitchen and Moulton family artifacts.
The council could approve the conceptual site plan and building drawings at the meeting.
Other potential changes to the site include the rehabilitation of the existing barn, bunkhouse and sheds.
Collection boxes: The city will hold a public hearing related to potential regulations for donation collection boxes, also known as drop-off bins.
City staff recommend a “strict permitting and regulatory scheme” for the collection boxes, including the requirement that operators must obtain a permit before placing their boxes throughout…
